““Democrats can’t find a Smocking Gun tying the Trump campaign to Russia after James Comey’s testimony.”
Washington Post introduces “Bottomless Pinocchio” (inspired by Trump) for lies repeated 20 times or more.
“Fair share” described dividing up the sales pie to ensure that each company reaped continued profits. “Trashing the market” was used when a competitor ignored these unwritten rules and sold drugs for less than agreed-upon prices.
The terminology reflected more than just the clubbiness of a powerful industry, according to authorities and several lawsuits. Officials from multiple states say these practices were central to illegal price-fixing schemes of massive proportion.Washington Post
The media and her fellow Democrats are making much of Ocasio-Cortez and her proposal for a “Green New Deal”.
In fact, a “Green New Deal” was proposed some 10 years ago by the Green Party.
Ocasio-Cortez’s version is feeble when compared to the Green Party version. Moreover, I see precious little chance it would be approved by a Republican Senate or signed by the madman in the White House.
This is an example of stunts I expect the Democrats to pull during the next two years: Promise to take care of the working class serfs and introduce bills they know will have no chance of making it through the Senate (or signed by Trump). It looks good for the Democrats, making it appear they really want to help serfs and working class (when they are primarily concerned with payola).
New Democrats: Same as the old Democrats.

If you use Twitter, you may have noticed that big pharmaceutical companies have been tweeting a lot of positive self-promoting tweets.
In the background, they’re spending millions to buy politicians and kill efforts to obtain lower drug prices and promote “Medicare for all”.
Big Pharma funneled at least 2.5 million to the notorious, pro-Trump dark money group America First — at the same time Trump backed off his position on Medicare drug prices and promoted a tax plan that was a windfall for the pharmaceutical industry. https://t.co/0gQRElB2Fv— Public Citizen (@Public_Citizen) December 9, 2018
“As this country becomes blacker, browner, gayer, younger, more Hispanic and more Muslim, it is increasingly the case that the GOP cannot win if all voters vote. It cannot win, in other words, without cheating.”
I recently tried to call the IRS about a bill I received. I was put on hold and after an hour of waiting I gave up and wrote a letter instead. About a month later, the IRS sent me a letter saying they would respond within a month or so. The response I finally received, about two months later, did not answer all of my questions.
Republicans went on a yuge “cost-cutting” spree several years ago which has cut agencies such as the IRS and Social Security to the bone.
Do you need to contact one of those agencies? Good luck.
But don’t worry…the rich and corporations still got $1.5 trillion worth of tax cuts, thanks to the GOP.
